Today I prepared and primed all the rudder skeleton components. I riveted the skeleton together, with the exception of some rivets that could not be squeezed. They will have to wait until I get a hand tomorrow.

Here's the "bending brake" that I used to make a nice tight trailing edge in the rudder skin. It's made out of a 2x8x8', cut into 47" and 49" segments, and hinged together. Shove the skin in there and wang down on it...there's your trailing edge.

Here's the rudder skin tentatively in the V-groove jig.
