Tomorrow I'm heading to Rosamond to do some formation practice with Paul Rosales, Trish Russell, and Son Hoang. After that I'm gonna fly up to Lake Isabella and camp out. I cleaned the plane up and loaded my camping and fishing gear. The RV doesn't appear to have the biggest baggage area when you look at it, but it's deceiving. With all the camping stuff back there, the junk was only one layer deep, basically not even coming up higher than about 1/3 way up the baggage compartment.
Here's a view through the rear window...kinda fuzzy, but you can see how much room is left for the wife's shoes.
Tonight I used the brake/shear combo that Linas and I recently acquired to fabricate a little iPod mounting base. The wire is temporary -- it's a standard Radio Smack special 6' long wire. I'll make my own short run wire one of these days.
Here's a side shot of the iPod mounting base. It's angled toward me.
