Anyway, on Monday morning Jen and I flew home. You know, some people have to work for a living. Or at least pretend to work for a living. I got some shots of the hills as we flew back into the LA basin.

Hey, look...hills.

Love that LA smog. That's Catalina in the distance.

The tip-up canopy -- it's so bad, it kicks its own ass twice a day (Dolemite anybody?). I love it. Actually, what I'm about to talk about has nothing to do with tip-up vs. slider for once. The canopy in any RV kicks butt. But regardless of canopy style, there are just some times when you don't feel like having the sun beaming down on you. We've all seen the Koger sun shade, which is kinda cool. But I really don't want to install it on my canopy. Tom Prokop loaned me a set of these automotive suction-cup dealies, and I went out and bought a set of my own. For about six bucks you can get a pair of these from Auto Barn. They cut the sun just enough while still letting you see through 'em. It's funny...in the Mooney or Warrior or whatever, I never knew what I was missing with a clear canopy. Now that I have it, I can't fathom losing the visibility even with a sun shade. So anyway, these kick butt for the price, and you can move 'em around wherever you need 'em. Works for me. (Yes, that's Jen sleeping with a blanket...I need to get my heat muff back installed again...winter is coming.)

Smoggety smog smog.

Low stratus and haze? Nah. Smog.

Hey, look...some more hills.
